Serenity, simplicity, gravity, self-control and purity of thought are the austerities of the mind.
Bhagavad Gita 17:16
Simplicity is the nature of great souls.
Simplicity is not to be found; it does not lie as a choice between the essential and the non-essential. It comes into being when the mind is not caught in speculations, conclusions, beliefs, ideations. Such a free mind only can find truth. Such a mind alone can receive that which is immeasurable, which is unnameable; and that is simplicity.
If one's life is simple, contentment has to come. Simplicity is extremely important for happiness.
The XIV Dalai Lama
Have few desires.
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
